Huh. I’ve never heard of this issue. At all! My Subaru Forester has an oil consumption issue (plenty of others too). About a quart per 2,000 miles. Not enough to warrant any attention by Subaru, so I just diligently add it and go along with it. I assume it will get worse and worse.
