So, to upgrade her OS they plugged it into a Mac with iTunes, which does a sync when you do so? With hundreds of iPhones getting plugged into one computer every day, I'm not surprised someone elses data was backed up, and then synced to her phone.

I've been spreading the word that our city accepts dead alkaline batteries in the normal recycle bin (just throw them in a ziplok baggy) because for some reason most people don't think about it and chuck them in the garbage.
