Yes, this... It took people up to 30 hours to go from Houston to San Antonio or Austin. It was brutal. I worked at HOU and took the last flight out to Austin and flew over the jam. My family who had been on the road for 24 hours picked me up at the airport on our way to stay at Spicewood Vineyards.
