It definitely does not. On my Dv7 using 10.10, disabling the touchpad via the button ended up being catastrophic.

Last I looked at DDR2 ram (which I'll admit wasn't recent) to get a stick for my Dv7 wasn't anywhere near that :/

What a coincidence, I went to college for computer science for programing. Biggest waste ever. Thankfully, I dropped out. I didn't need to pay money to learn C# on my professors time. I ended up using "the big yellow book" (which was free!!) and that did a better job than the professor I had.
