The purpose of any tool is to get a job done. If it gets the job done just as well in 15 years, there is no point to upgrade. I still use Keynote on an 11 year old iBook to do presentations for my classes. It works just as well as it ever did. Take a look a the bicycle wheel. Or better yet:

So you’re playing a video game simulating a sport yet you can’t imagine the names being different. There is a reason why FIFA hasn’t killed PES like EA has done with most other sports. Thankfully, fans want a better playing game.
