To be fair, Disney does use similar technology, though in a more limited fashion, in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride these days. They added them when they updated the ride with movie-related stuff.

Damn, that’s disheartening. I’ve got family down in Oregon and spent a fair bit of time there growing up and there was definitely some overt racism, but I felt like it had gotten better since that time. :(

Yeah, everyone over here is aware of Oregon’s unfortunate history, but these days it’s really the Idaho pan handle that you have to worry about; there are some seriously racist mother fuckers over there (that’s a generalization of course, they aren’t all terrible people, but it is a problem).

That’s why I love living in the Pacific Northwest, we’re all just so apathetic about everyone else; we mostly just want to be left alone to live our lives so that’s how we treat everyone else too. It can come off as cold at times though, I’m sure.

How long until all religions die off. They have served their purpose in helping to build human culture (and for that they should be acknowledged), but they serve to oppress and dictate more than they serve to help in modern culture and it’s time for them to go.
