As a member of the LGBT+ community I could not give a fuck if the character was gay/bi/lesbian and is killed off in a show where people die regularly.

I feel it should once again be pointed out, as the piece itself ignored, is that there was no way for Lexa to continue to be in the show as the actress plays a main character on FtWD and it was apparently a hassle to get the actress for as many episodes as they did. Add to that that Lexa was such a prominent character…

I don’t think I’ve said anything that is disrespectful to anyone who disagrees. I’ve not attacked anyone, I’ve not gone after anyone, I’ve not been vicious or name calling. Just because I disagree doesn’t mean I’m not fine with someone else having an opinion.

I think there’s poetics in the way she died - she’s always been trying to tread the line between warrior and peace keeper. She died trying to help Clarke. I don’t need tv deaths to be big bangs - she died trying to be a peace keeper. I’m okay with that.

I understand the upset, but, first, it’s clear that Clarke wasn’t leaving that tower without something happening to Lexa.

Agreed, but I think AMC can give her a heftier paycheck. To be fair, she has only ever been billed as a special guest star on the 100. But that death was the worse. She should have died in freaking battle and gone out on her own terms. I don’t necessarily agree with her being an example of “bury your gays”but she sure…

It was a lousy way to kill her off, just stumbling into a fight.

She should have stayed with the 100. Fear the Walking Dead is a ok show, but they could kill her off anytime on the zombie show.

yes. They couldn’t keep her on the show, and Clarke would have never left Lexa, Lexa would have never left Clarke. Really, what else were they were meant to do? I’m totally okay with the death - I liked Lexa, but this year has been stalling ever since Clarke walked into that tower. Something had to happen to kick it…

Also with ESP, Luke had hyperdrive, the Falcon’s wasn’t working...
