One of the C&D writers bought a Giulia, so they’re confident enough in them. I think reliability is much improved.

Surprised you didn’t mention Embeth Davidtz’s previous experience with the undead in Army of Darkness.

I actually liked the second Pacific Rim better than the first. It worked as a YA movie. I have no idea what the original was trying to be. Del Toro is a seems like a terrific guy, and is a really nice visual director, but he’s a poor storyteller. The plots to his films never make much sense.

You guys are the best, and the two of you absolutely changed automobile journalism forever. No joke. I’m thankful for all the words of yours I read here and am so excited for your new adventures. Mazel tov!

Best truck I ever owned was a LUV.

This couple took a tiny Goggomobil TS300 around the world in the 1950's and it looks like they had a great time, so Goggomobil gets my vote. It’s small and light enough to go anywhere. And it’s simple and easy to fix. There’s a company that remakes just about everything for them.

Nothing was more frightening than Lidsville. A universe populated by evil sentient hats? Uh.... Sid and Marty at their most disturbing.

The Raptor driver escalated the situation. Let the asshole pass and don’t worry about it.

Yeah, this is a good point. I would have hoped Luke would find some middle ground between old and new ways since he seemed like a sensible kid, but he did have quite a string attachment to Yoda, so that probably influenced him, too.

The fact that Luke re-establishes the old Jedi rules confuses me. He became a Jedi a new way. He broke those old rules and it worked, so why would be go back to something he knows (eventually) failed the first time?

That’s an extremely collectible car. This one sold for over $50K nine years ago.

I restored a first gen/ Chevette. They were not bad cars. They were cheap cars. There’s a difference.

Gremlins are very collectible right now, so that was a poor example. But, that person is right. If you love the car, collect it. No don’t listen to what anyone who thinks they know better has to say. If you’re happy, they don’t know better.

Cheap cars don’t make enough money, so fuck you poors.

I loved my Chevette. So, a few years ago I bought a first gen. one and restored it. It was a fun experience and the person I sold it to loved it, too. They were good, cheap cars. So basic, there was hardly anything to go wrong which was deliberate since Chevy’s previous cheap car was the Vega. The early ones are also

Mr. Luthor thought so, too.

I know these things were fine performance-wise, but damn were they ugly. I think I’d rather have a smog equipment choked late 70's Trans Am with the like 150 horsepower V8. (Those were really the worst “muscle” cars, but hey, they looked fantastic.)

I loved my C30. It was a really fun car. The 480ES is not, unfortunately, that exciting to drive. But, it sure is charming.

Same wacky suspension, though.
