There was a Reddit thread where someone suggested Guz Khan as the next Doctor which I think is a bloody brilliant idea.

Nope

Transport costs were about equal to what I paid for the car. Until I shipped it to California from the east coast. I know of one other LNA here, but no 104's interestingly. Maybe that’ll be my next import.

Yeah, Hugh was cool, too. The killed him off, though, right? A buddy Borg Hugh-Seven show could have been fun.

Ha. Man, that show really stunk. Except for the Seven parts.

That’s how you get it to blow on your feet.

What’s a strange idea? Importing an LNA? I figured no one else would and I like those cars. I brought it over around two years ago.

They really should have abandoned the Picard series and given Seven and the Rangers their own show. Or just Seven of Nine. She was far and away the best, most interesting part of season 1.

It was terrible. I don’t understand how they went with the plotline they did. It was utterly ridiculous and dumb. Seven of Nine, however, was awesome. She should get her own show.

I am one of two LNA owners in America and can confirm one lever is for hot and not hot and the other is the vent lever.

I never buy cars as an investment. I wanted to use it.

I’m thinking something like an old supercharged Bentley. Wind in your hair, smooth tarmac with no sharp curves. Perfect for something old and quick.

Man, I almost bought one of these for like 5 grand 15 years ago as a daily driver and I backed out at the last minute and this is making me realize what a dummy I was. There are few cars this gloriously ridiculous.

Have you ever actually seen the work in the Dune book? Its influence is everywhere. Wes Anderson, Ben Wheatley. Just about anything sci-fi since Alien. David Lynch obviously. Influence doesn’t mean it’s aping the thing. Great artists don’t copy.

I don’t know where you went to film school, but I have a master’s degree in screenwriting and in my 6 years of film school, Jodorowski was discussed extensively. Holy Mountain is a landmark film and just because you can’t see his influence on filmmaking of the last 50 years, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. There is a

Jodorowski was absolutely a visionary genius. He just wasn’t interested in making traditional films that made any narrative sense. But, his visual style definitely strongly influenced many many filmmakers. It still does. And that Dune book was quite well known to folks working in Hollywood. People would reference it

It isn’t just Alien, though. Those books were passed around to production designers, costume designers, directors, etc. for years. It maybe didn’t inspire every work of science fiction since they were made, but everyone important working in Hollywood in the 80's and 90's saw, and drew inspiration from the Jodorowsky

Because that’s pretty much the point of making a Ghostbusters movie.

No, it was. The narrative was fine. Made enough sense to me.

This is stupid. The movie was fine. It’s Ghostbusters. Why would you make a Ghostbusters movie that isn’t nostalgic? Besides, the original Ghostbusters only show up at the very end and they’re not the ones that ultimately save the day. I actually think a movie starring the old, original cast would have been a good
