In fact, Galileo didn't just have a "measure of faith", but he was deeply religious. So much that the conflict between his findings and the Bible's teachings actually gave him some inner conflict (just like with Kepler). Their resolution was not to abandon faith, but rather to reconcile it, by realizing that the Bible

It's definitely not the coolest name...

"Ludger" is actually a regular german name.

Because in real life, cameras and lenses are not perfect.

Maybe it's just a lens issue. The camera used in real life and the virtual in-game camera are different (different focal lengths, also the real cameras has lens imperfections such as barrel distortion, etc.).

It's because 3D rendering typically uses perfect "lenses". You can see that the GoPro or whatever cameras was used for the real-life footage has really bad lens barrel distortion. Also the focal length might not be the same, which would explain the different perception of "closeness".

Considering Deus Ex contains Thief and System Shock (2) DNA, I think Deus Ex is a good representative of that branch of games.

Nobody is making demand, but criticism like "I wish there was multiplayer", or "I wish that feature X had been like Y", AND also "I wish there were homoromantic options" are completely valid. It doesn't mean the developer HAS to implement these, but it's freedom of opinion to be able to review a game and have an

Homophobes have been imposing their version of sexuality for centuries on everyone.

This is a crossover of Etrian Odyssey (which is called "MeiQ" in Japan, hence, the Q) with the Persona series. You're lucky to see the characters at all.

As far as I remember, grinding is not too necessary at all. The most emphasis should be put in character interaction, as increasing Social Link levels actually gives you greater gains than simple XP grinding.

I agree with you partially. I do think deadlines are not good for creativity (especially when the deadlines are sales/commerce-driven).

For shoes of a character on Wii (with a max screen resolution of 800x480), you'll probably even end up with 64x64 considering that shoes on that resolution are probably like 10 pixels high...

I remember artists who created 24MB textures for shoes for a Wii game. No, don't worry, artists WILL do it that high-res even if you don't explicitly ask them to.

The upside of that is that it gives their developers leeway to not be pressured into stress, deadlines, milestones, and so, and just let their creativity flow.

I don't thinking making a game that fans wanted and that will be fun to play is against what he preached.

pheasants are for eating.

For a company that has the reputation of being extremely playful, these buildings look rather bland...

Honestly, Im hungry and find this tasty-looking right now.
