It's actually pretty good. Yum!

No. I will not stop being so picky about where I sit. I'm paying to come to a restaurant - I refuse to be uncomfortable or to sit in a location next to the kitchen (which is loud) or the bathroom (just gross) and I'd always prefer a booth. So if there's a soft, comfy booth, far away from the kitchen and bathroom,

What about water poured from those pitchers that have the little bar across them to stop the ice from coming out? And seriously, does she not realize that ice is actually water? I mean, does it change the flavor somehow to have ice in there? I guess I understand not wanting the ice clinking against your teeth, but

I have a good friend who does this. She knows it's a terrible thing to do to the meat, but she just can't stand the texture of the meat (or eggs) unless really well done. So if she's ever invited for a steak dinner, she doesn't get a filet - she gets a cheaper cut of meat. And she's ok with that.

I used to know a guy who would order an espresso and then add six sugars. It was sludge.

Ads are a necessary evil - annoying pop up ads that clutter my desktop with bullshit or autoplay loudly or are just for stupid crap like beezid.com deserve to burn in the darkest pit of hell.

I'm a bridge engineer, too - so I'm with you. THIS WILL NOT STAND!

A box girder is a horizontal beam, not a column, which is vertical. Extradosed means that the box girders (which are also generally present on cable-stayed bridges - for example, that Elber River bridge uses box girders) are supported on the towers/piers that support the cables, providing continuity in the

Ermagerrred, y'all, just BCC everyone when you send a mass email and then reply-alls cannot occur.

BTW, most stuff overseas is pretty boring, too.

Yup, totally cookie cutter and not at all unique.

Like IM Pei's pyramid but with more cube and less... pyramid?

I <3 timber bridges and arches... So pretty.

Under the Pink is the first album I ever bought...

OK, nine is cool, seven is a bit too young. We live about 500 ft from our n'hood park and I wouldn't let my 7-year-old walk there alone...

My question is, do they still have the sparkly ones, too? I mean some girls just like that stuff and I don't think we should discourage them for liking what they like - and some girls might actually be into science and sparkles... They're not mutually exclusive.

You don't have to take the music out for that video to be creepy.

If everyone were paid what they were worth, it wouldn't be an issue. After I'd worked for my first job out of college for six years, they hired someone else with less experience than me, from another state (relevant in my field as design practice and standards vary by state) and paid him about $20k more a year than I

Right, there would definitely need to be a vetting process, but at the same time, they could add a disclaimer that says it hasn't been vetted and you should do that on your own (like if they wanted to get the info out there quickly and come back later with verification, for example).

Share the one kitchen item you can't live without - this list actually helped me add things to my Amazon Wish List, lol.
