#9, I must agree. That's where I discovered my last car had an electronic limiter (115mph). In hindsight, its not a good idea to drive that fast on public roads, and also since the car was a particularly torque-less Toyota it took forever to get to that speed...

I'm more confused than ever on whether to buy the Go Pro3 Silver or the Sony ActionCam. The black edition is a bit too much money. But these are the two best choices for the money for filming my offshore kayaking/fishing. thoughts?

I've had my CX-5 sport (manual!) for 6 months now. Its a great car: I get 30 mixed mpg and I drive 70% hwy 30% city during the work week and carry a kayak on the weekends. Its got all the space to suit the wife's plans for a growing family and it handles like a car rather than an SUV. Love it.

Chestmount is certainly one way to go, but doesnt play well with my PFD. Many of my friends put the gopro on a extendable mount and stick it in a rod holder, angled towards the cockpit.

I eagerly await Gizmodo's review of the Sony Action Cam. I have $ waiting to spend on one of these cameras for my kayaking trips, but I'm holding out for a review on the Sony. Its definitely time to update the battlemodo of action cameras.

Completely agree. We had a Hilux in the family for 14 yrs (replaced with another Hilux 4 yrs ago) and over here in the states I had a Matrix for almost 9 yrs (replaced with a Mazda CX5). In recent years, its felt like you cannot buy an exciting or fast Toyota, you had to make do with beige and turn to the [slim]…

Mr. Musk I'm a big fan of SpaceX, do you have any plans to do short trips outside of our orbit, like say a Lunar flyby, within the next decade before jumping on the Mars bandwagon? I know its been done, but its like a rite of passage for the other space agencies. Keep doing great things man!
