I have always regarded this show as being "PTI for dummies." I literally get headaches when I even watch videos of this tripe. But sadly, what would we expect in terms of an "apology" from them over this? This show comes from the P.T. Barnum/Vince McMahon (and ESPN's headquartered in the same state as WWE) mindset of

"He was cited for one count of possession of marijuana, and one count of improper passing on the left."

Gentlemen. C'mon. It could be worse. Ray Rice could be a major "distraction" like Michael Sam. For fuck's sake: Titus Young got a longer suspension for intentionally running the wrong route during the 4th quarter of a game.

I guess punctuation, along w/spelling was not his strong suit. #tities

The red flags about Titus were everywhere when the Lions (who often, laughably, think they're the smartest guys in the room) drafted this cat. He has immense talent, but he's a total douchebag. He clearly has psychological issues and they manifest themselves in violent streaks, whether it's getting into fights at

You, sir, just banked in a long three pointer...AND 1!

And I'm guessing the Wizards get a Gold Star for the Bullets' 1978 title.

This could be a hell of a learning exercise and a shock to the system of the under 30 crowd that doesn't realize that the Bucks, Hawks, Kings(?), Trail Blazers, and Knicks have all won titles at some point.

As a guy who doesn't follow soccer, nor really has a vested interest in starting, I can say as a fan of another sport that catches a fair amount of shade from Americans (baseball), that the 7 points are very salient and that MLB would be advised to get their shit together before they end up being the niche sport for

From what I recall, wasn't Larry Drew an assistant while Kidd was in New Jersey? This dude treats his coaches (current and former) coaches like a Hit man treats his targets. If I'm John Hammond, I'm hiring extra security.

"By the way, during our our or so killing time in the airport, we learned that in his prime, Virgil was given an open door policy to the Playboy mansion where he 'fucked every month of the Playboy calendar.'"

I think it was either the 4th or 5th inning that the FS Detroit broadcasters brought that little wave back up and the two former players on color (Rod Allen and Craig Monroe) both suggested that Kinsler should expect a receipt at some point tonight or tomorrow. What was lost is that right before the 'U Mad, bro?" wave

"Since when does something in industry have to be politically correct?" Since we entered the 1980s, I reckon.

Gwynn was in that line of great Black baseball players in the 70s, 80s, and 90s and was one of the main reasons I got into the game in the first place in the 80s as a kid.. First recollection I had of him was being the final out of the 1984 WS against the Tigers. He was a hitting machine and a phenomenal guy. He was a

It's nice to see Lee Elia's influence lives on

These jerseys still appear in my worst nightmares

That is a text book prison pose by Torii Hunter. And I'm not sure whether Austin Jackson is doing "Tiger Claws" or Jazz hands. God I hope they were jazz hands!

...or a professional Basketball Team....or Football team...

From 1999 to 2005, the Detroit Lions' best Quarterback was Charlie Batch, a guy so maddeningly inconsistent that Marty Mornhinweg replaced him w/Ty Detmer who proceeded to throw SEVEN picks against Cleveland, then started the next game. Stafford looks like Tom Brady by comparison.

I'm guessing that pepper spray was purchased at Walmart.
