Yeah, that’s not true at all. The Bears were the NFC North Champions with Cutler in 2010 and went 11-5 for the season. Also went 10-6 in 2012. It’s probably best for both the Bears and Cutler that they go their separate ways, but it’s best to know your facts before hating on a guy who, like it or not, is the best QB

Or the inevitable rotation of bad draft picks and journeymen over the next 5 years!

You are gonna wish Jay Cutler was back after watching Matt Barkley these next 6 games

Arrggghhhh.

Artisanal coffee is bullshit, but cheap coffee is ass. There’s a bell curve, with the top being good stuff you buy in a grocery store. Rule of thumb: if you’re paying more than a dollar an ounce, you’re buying bullshit; but if you’re paying less than $5 a pound, you’re buying ass.

Agreed. Totally Gross. No HOF without at least two super bowls!

When someone cuts off all contact with their family, sometimes the someone is justified in doing so and sometimes not. We don’t know which in this case. I haven’t spoken to my mother in more than 30 years and she’s only been dead for 25.

If this is true, I can’t believe he hasn’t come out yet. I mean, nothing screams “bastion of tolerance and understanding” like Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He didn’t attend his grandfather’s funeral—the same grandfather he once called before every game.

As someone who is at 5 years with no family contact (because my family are the most miserable people I’ve ever met), I say good for him. You can’t choose your family, but you can choose who you allow in your life. If those choices mean he’s happy, then more power to him.

Maybe, but we don’t know anything about what has happened in his life outside the football field and what he chooses to make public. As with the vast majority of people, his private life is private.

Rodgers is a transcendent quarterback who is forgetting about his family 50 years ahead of his peers.

It’s too late for that. They need Drake LaRoche.

Jack Johnson only wishes he had cut off ties with his parents like Rodgers did.

Clearly, he just needs a nurturing presence in the locker room who can gently reach out to him and guide him through these complex emotions. I suggest the Packers sign Richie Incognito.

It fucking sucks that the rules are so one-sided in the NFL. If you’re a defender and lead with your head, you are flagged, possibly booted from the game, and likely fined.

The understandable look of dread on a man about to be evaluated by NFL physicians for brain trauma.
