“We’re criminals. We’ve always been criminals.”

Different universe I know, but apt nonetheless..

Lol! Which must make her a blonde I guess! ;)

Sad as it is to say. The thing that gets me suspicious is the Gran thing. She just happened to give him a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15? Cos those are rare and far between. It just all seems a touch convenient..

Well that, and lab accidents!

I wonder if his brother, or his ex for that matter, is a gamer/Spider-Man fan. That could be awkward, and bitterly ironic.

Yeah. It can just be something suggested between the lines...because of y’know...the implication. :)

Yeah...doesn’t he even have a line about “we learned that we weren’t alone in the universe” or something like that? Doesn’t really track..

Suddenly wishing I had a high end PC. Looks like a mixture of the old Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Carmageddon to the max!

If only he really was playing the Doctor in it. He could fix a multitude of evils! ;)

That’s a great photo of Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams. I’d genuinely never seen it before. May have to pick this up!

Heh! I did enjoy this.

Neat little take on the Avengers theme too!

Wait? Jackpot? Are you kidding? So now they’ll build a film around a character who was just a tease for Mary Jane in a costume. Without even being able to build it around Mary Jane, let alone Spider-man? Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. It’s like they’re picking names out of a hat now...

I think Patrick’s already done something along the lines of what you are suggesting. With his appearance as an older tragic version of Professor X. Not sure why you would want him to repeat himself there.
Can’t we have a portrayal of an older man, with his dignity intact? Is that supposed to be too unrealistic a thing

Man, that Incredibles Mom really nailed it! Great likeness

Heh! Though I think Deadpool pretty much is that!

There is an argument that Jack Kirby was at least as much responsible for the initial design of Spider-man as Ditko. But what can’t be debated is Ditko’s wonderfully varied designs for Spider-mans classic rogue gallery. Mysterio’s design alone is sheer genuis. But when you add in Dr Octopus, Electro, The Vulture,

In Feb 2013, I was at flying back from Dublin to Glasgow, and found myself sitting next to Joss Whedon on the plane. As he was going from the Dublin film festival to the Glasgow Film Theatre doing promotional showings and talks for Much ado about nothing. I think I lasted about 30 seconds of not pestering him before

More like fuck Edgar Wright. Joss wasn’t allowed to go near Antman or the Wasp whilst Wright was developing them for his movie. Which of course Wright then ultimately walked away from at the last moment. (But not before ensuring that Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne would not be of the same generation as Tony Stark et al.

Yeah, you and me are on the same page there. It’s definitely the only season to top it!

I would say that only Matt Smith’s first season tops it. In some ways it is quite similar. (A sea change—a shaking up of the status quo, a new Doctor, and even an extra companion) So it may be that the fresh feeling of the fourth doctors first season is exactly what they were hoping to recreate. So kudos would go to
