No ceiling fixtures, 90+deg and single pane windows in the US...

Adding a low-profile ceiling fan* in lieu of the overhead lighting fixture is a simple job and not a lease-breaker if you put the fixture back when you leave. Of course, you’ll have to get your lighting from somewhere else now but there are alot of nice looking lamps out there.

Could we get some more of that “Markelle Mark and the Funky Shot” vid?

***Seriously, I hope the kid succeeds. He’s dedicated the past 10-15yrs of his life to an NBA career and it ends up here?!? Laugh all you want but he busted his ass just to get the chance... I wish him nothing but the best.
