Scalia was totally okay with free speech when his corporate sponsors didn’t tell him otherwise.

Yes, telling black people that they aren’t smart enough for “fast-paced colleges” (lol) is disagreeing. Also glad he’s dead.
We are winning. SO fuck you.
Something about broken clocks.
Not sure if making an obvious point for freedom of speech makes up for the blatant racism, homophobia, misogyny, and overall regressive policies.
Okay, fine. So once in a blue moon, he was right. Still: fuck him and good riddance. I don’t care that the man just died. The beautiful honesty of Atheism I guess.
As long as you don’t dye/stain your skin it’s fine. Same as long as it’s not a racist caricature version.
Now we know Marvin Harrison had something to do with a murder at the very least. I would suggest that is worse than the aggregate of Owens’ persona. knowing now how some of the after effects of football and contact sports affect players personalities, it seems like something the committee could be less judgemental…
Voters really do have some sort of stick in their ass about WRs. Art Monk at one time had the most receptions in history, won three super bowls, and wasn’t a complete fucking asshole. He had to wait forever to get in.
The biggest issue the NFL HOF has is the limitation on how many people can get elected. It resulted in the awkward receiver backlog over the last few years, which is why people like Harrison and Owens- who should have been first ballot- didn’t get in.
It wasn’t Harrison’s first year as a candidate. In fact, one may very well argue that what kept Harrison out last year is what kept Owens out this year: things that have nothing to do with football.
I really enjoy Owens. I remember the SF Chronicle writing about the shy WR who had incredible hands who was turning heads in camp. And look at the heads he turned throughout his career. He did become a very, very good receiver. But I think his talent was overshadowed at times by his entertaining style which should no…
Marvin Harrison, attached to no less than two murders, gets in first ballot, but TO, who had no notable legal issues during his career, gets lambasted because of his locker room behavior?
The NFL can go fuck themselves.
And herein lies the problem when only media people (and by that, I mean Peter King types, not Deadspin writers) get the final say on who should be in the HOF. The no-voters are guaranteed to have some sort of grudge against Owens.
Aw, shit yeah, bro! Not all men! You’re so brave!
Don’t forget to dismiss all the #NotAllMen morons who will inevitably reply to you.
It’s really simple buddy. Women are murdered by men for “rejecting them” vastly more often than men are murdered by women for “rejecting them”.
It would be so much easier to parse this run if McKesson would be led cagey about whether he embraces the same terrible neoliberal politics of most TFA people. But he hasn’t been very forthcoming.
He’s a TFA kid from Bowdoin...
