Yeah. The Gov, up until this point in the season, has kind of been too cool for school. His brawl with Michonne was his first time really getting his hands dirty if I remember correctly.

Exactly. I've owned and played all 4 and none of them are that difficult. Even in 3, which is supposed to be the most difficult, I don't remember dying very much if at all past the first 3rd of the game.
