Where's Spiderman's Die Spinne costume he wore in Berlin in Spiderman v.s. Wolverine 1?

Either the Vorlons or the Shadows. Compared to all the other races of the Babylon 5 universe the old races are truly alien.

I would also like to put forward Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything. A book which as television series would blow Cosmos out of the water.

Biology/genetics/medicine: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Amazing story, amazing science.

I have to make a confession here. I love fantasy. I love Wild Cards. I think the world of George R.R. Martin. But... I don't like Game of Thrones. And to be honest, I really don't know why I am one of the few people who doesn't love it. But the two things mentioned above probably play a part in it.
Someone (probably my

Athletics. Pure and simple. Just man v.s. man (or woman v.s. woman) and upping the limits of what the human body can do. Endurance, speed, agility... (It is not for naught that these traits are the basic traits of many a character system in RPG's) There's a whole lot of high tech that comes into play nowadays, but

I like Earth even more in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where it goes from totally disposable to being a supercomputer, to being ... What?

Sorry for not going the gadget way, but the great social equaliser (men and women) of this age is the pill. So if any artifact must represent this age, it should be this little strip.

He made a ton of money of Youngblood and Image, but is ridiculed nonetheless. He is in the same catagory as Justin Bieber, Milli Vanilli, etc. Rich, popular with some, but despised by most.

I wasn't so much critizing these pages. I also love Alpha Flight and it is in many ways a groundbreaking comic. These pages are just a part of what made them great. Let's face it, Alpha Flight is one of the few non-US based superhero (teams) which endured and is more than just the occasional cameo in another

I actually liked Alpha Flight. They had some good storylines, the characters were interesting, and the allowed one of the best artists in the biz to get away with drawing nothing for several pages...

I'm not giving you one hero, but a team of them: Youngblood.
Yes, I know. They were quite succesful in their initial run. But man, they stunk from the start and were the worst of the original comics from Image. (Yes, even worse than Shadowhawk.) And the writing was really on the wall from the start. Lee, McFarlane,

The blockbuster to start the trend of blockbusters? Young hero, princess, dark evil enemy, space battles, monsters, hairy yeti-like side kick named after chewing tobaco, two comic relief characters??? Pulpy to the extreme.

I disagree. I picked up some of my graphic novels yesterday and reread bits and pieces. I still maintain that he wrote well and was able to write strong female characters without too much of his later creepy sexism shining through. Somewhere at the end of the nineties early noughties he started becoming really

I agree and disagree. I think that the main Universes of both DC and Marvel have overstayed their welcome. Neither company can kill off their main characters, because they have become too valuable for them. And both have to reset their Universes regularly to attract new readers. DC does this with great universe

Maybe coke, maybe arrogance, maybe he became misogynous because of a bad divorce. I don't know. But I know that his early work used to be brilliant and his later work tends to suck. The Dark Knight Strikes Again?!? Holy Terror!!!

Give Me Liberty is great and really holds up well, despite the Reagan era paranoia that embues it. Just like The Dark Knight Returns. I also love Electra Assassin. Haven't read Ronin in a while. You'll pick up GML, I'll pick up Ronin. okay?

How about Martha Washington from Give Me Liberty? Or Robin from the original Dark Knight Returns. Or Electra from Electra Assassin? Or... Anyway, Frank Miller used to write great female characters at the beginning of his career. What happened to him?

Indeed, he was effed up little kid to start with, who got manipulated into killing an entire species, was revered and feared for it at the same time, went into voluntary exile with his sister, became a speaker for the dead, and indeed has a strange relationship with his sister... And that's all going on before it gets

I put forward Ender Wiggin. Pre-teen xenocidal murderer. Yes, I know I have to hate Orson Scott Card for all his disgusting ideas, but he nevertheless created one of the most tragic heroes of all time, in any genre. Just read the first trilogy, not the Shadow saga.
