I keep trying to explain how Switzerland isn’t a paradise and how xenophobic they are to my GF, but somehow the Swiss have convinced most of the world that they are rational capitalists who are nice to everyone. Is it the Fondue? It’s got to be.

I mean, I’ve got a good job, good healthcare, pension, career prospects, and more. There’s little gun violence. Solid infrastructure, cheap commutes, taxes are essentially the same (once you include the cost of healthcare back home).
