I'd never risk a window motor just to do something as cool as this.

I have a buddy who has a sound system in his car that costs more than the car and dynamat combined. When we get ice, he just cranks the system and finds a very fast-paced bassy mix, like Prodigy, and just rattles the ice away.

In reality, that's a great way to damage your power window or window crank... or some related part.

Power window motors aren't cheap, after they break from trying to force an ice jam off.

Uh. That's a very good way to rip the glass out of the lifting mechanism. Been there done that.....

Why didn't you roll the windshield down and the same thing? Keep up the useful tips Travis.

Imagine a picture of someone driving a car with this text over it:

Cyclists, commuters in particular, don't run cameras just to troll. They mostly use them because many drivers don't respect their use of the road, even in areas that have clearly marked bike lanes, sharrows, and other signage. Drivers also have this nasty tendency to drive off if they do hit a cyclist. If there is an

GoPros and the like are becoming common place for motorcyclists and bicyclists to some extend. When you are almost invisible to many motorists sharing the road you need all the evidence you can get to show how oblivious some people are when behind the wheel.

while that image macro is pretty funny, in this particular instance we see no stop sign running or crosswalk use and he's clearly in a bike lane.

Dumb comment. If the cyclist uses his bike to commute to work, then it makes sense that he will ride IN THE BIKE LANE on his way to work after it snows.

I only see one troll and it's not the bike rider. He was in the bike lane.

Many cyclists use helmet cameras so they have some useful evidence to show the police when they get run off the road. Kinda like Russian drivers with their dashcams.

Hmmmm, seems a bit trollish considering the circumstances

I know what it is and what it does. I also know that the icon on said button, which is supposed to be a vehicle descending a hill with a gauge in the background, looks like a damn pull toy duck.

BMW's hill descent button looks like a pull-toy duck to me.

Animators truly are from a different dimension.

Tailspin: A heroic, but likeable, bum with a specially modified cargo plane and a furry sidekick that battle evil and reluctantly take orders from a bossy hottie and her annoying relative.

Yes, but the Sea Duck is simply the most awesome plane in the history of ever. I remember building my own model of one out of LEGOs when I was a kid.
