    The DualShock 4 is better than the Xbone controller. Only marginally, but whatever hypothetical advantages the 360 controller had compared to the DualShock 3 have totally evaporated.

    Nice, but illogical.
    The system has to have a reason to exist.
    Being able to do some of what PC and PS4 can do, except worse....is not a compelling argument.
    The hardware is set. It exists. The thing they can still change is games.

    I LOVE platformers. DKC (2 especially) is just that damn good.

    Red Dead will almost certainly be on PC.

    Thing is, a hybrid console that comes up to, say, PS3 levels (should be doable) would be successful as hell.
    Because here’s the thing - Nintendo’s sitting on a giant pile of super hits that it REFUSES to put on anything but handhelds, which people are dying to play on consoles.

    See, the Steam Machines and Xbox don’t equate.
    Steam Machines ARE PCs and they’re treated as specialised PCs, and supported as PCs, and benefit from everything Valve does for PCs, and get all the same games that come to PCs, etc, etc.

    No. The list of huge exclusive PC games coming out is VAST.
    The list of huge exclusive PS4 games coming out is....pretty short.

    The Wii U might not have a ton of stuff, but it has great stuff, and it’s stuff that only comes to Wii U. So really no matter what else you have, you should also have a Wii U.

    I’m pretty alright with this year. Splatoon, Mario Kart, Smash Bros*, and soon Super Mario Maker, Yoshi, and StarFox which will hopefully be good....It’s been a pretty damn strong year for Nintendo.
    And there’s Kirby and Mario Party which aren’t bad.

    It’s really just their E3 announcements that come off as weak.

    And I say that as a PC gamer who has been patiently waiting for the PS4 to have enough games to make it worth getting one (it doesn’t, but it’s getting damn close).
