Muting the TV has the same meaning. I don’t get why you’d think it’d be named after that vs it being named after a deaf dude who invented it.

They weren’t involved with Voltron. Just the director was.
No they don’t.
They don’t own it for TV anymore. They lost the TV rights around when Disney bought Marvel. This is why Spectacular Spiderman was the last Sony TV Spiderman. All other TV shows with Spiderman have been made by Disney since then.
No they don’t. Stop making claims that you don’t actually know the truth of. Marvel approached Sony to make a Marvel game. Sony approached Insomniac about it and gave them the choice of which character they wanted to make a game with. They chose Spiderman. That’s how the deal went down. It has nothing to do with Sony…
lol okay chief. It’s not big yet it was hard enough to get decks of it that shops had to limit how many decks people could buy at once. You’re the one trying hard here.
Why does anything matter? I just found it weird that I’d never heard of someone who is supposed to be a household name for anyone that avidly plays board games. Why does it matter to you that I found that interesting and commented on that in a comment section of an article? I never said he doesn’t deserve attention.…
Yeah I think that’s it. Other than Gloomhaven most of the games I’ve played in the last 10 years are euro.
No but if most board gamers would put him near the top of their list then I would think that I as an avid board gamer would have heard of his name. It’d be like if someone said most video gamers would put Miyamoto near the top of their list of most recognizable names in the business. I would assume anyone that follows…
KeyForge is pretty big right now.
“If you ask most board game fans to name the most popular and prominent designers in the business, Lang’s name will usually be pretty near the top of the list.”
Same here. I’ve never heard the name before. And I’ve only played one of his games (Quarriors). I could name other designers though. Like Richard Garfield.
I’m confused about why you feel like activating Sony’s “quick attention mode” is difficult. All you have to do is cup your hand over the right ear. You don’t have to toggle through modes like you describe.
Sounds like it’ll be on both. It wouldn’t be the only DCU series on HBO Max.
I watched the video and didn’t hear any misses. What’s up with the title of the article? What were the misses?
Reminds me of how a lot of Nirvana fans didn’t comprehend how Polly was a song about a rapist that kidnapped a teen. Cobain was clearly anti-rape and was disgusted with some of his fans who loved his songs but didn’t comprehend his lyrics.
I’m not that familiar with Arad but I looked up his producer credits and it included Iron Man and Into the Spider-Verse. What name him a red flag?
It’s not my analogy in the first place. I merely stated how your analogy is flawed by saying that the roles more closely match other roles. G2A and Youtube have different business models so it’s never gonna match up 100% but a content creator is more closely matched with a reseller in the Youtube/G2A comparison.
People aren’t selling keys to G2A. They are selling keys through G2A. Your analogy fundamentally misunderstands how these services work. YouTube facilitates a transaction between you and an audience. It takes a cut by serving ads. And if you’re a partner it pays you a cut of the ad revenue.
I’m not trying to defend their point because I don’t agree with the gist of it but your analogy doesn’t work. Youtube is the business. It’s the G2A of the analogy. The equivalent of you would be the people selling stolen keys on G2A.
