A few key things to remember...

I wasn't aware of that. My devices are extremely old, so I just figured it wasn't getting updates for that reason (like so many other apps). A lot of Android apps seem to suffer from such abandonment. I wonder if this is as common with iOS apps. I'm intending to switch when/if the opportunity arises.
