Frostbite 3 is a huge jump over Frostbite 2. Watch some Battlefield 3 gameplay, then watch the 17 minute Battlefield 4 gameplay trailer. The difference is vast.

It is set in the Jazz era. It should all be jazz, with a classical score. I read a review from a critic that generally liked the move who said that "the beginning is full of rap". And that it is "disjointing against the Jazz era".

Depth of field is a good thing. It gives depth to the image. In life, our eyes do not keep everything in focus. When we look at something, everything else goes out of focus. Leaving everything in focus causes 2D to be more pronounced. Like a painting.

I can't agree with the reasoning on why PC games don't look as good as the next gen stuff we are seeing. Games that were ground up, PC only titles, don't look anywhere near as good as Shadow Fall, at this point. What could be slowing them down, if they were only developed for PC, with no thought of consoles?...

I don't see how you think that it was the same story. There were similarities, but in The Thing From Another World, the guy turned into a murderous plant man. It did not take the shape of others, and try to trick people, as in Carpenter's movie.
