I bought my wife a Breville Barista Express machine several years ago as a Christmas present, and she has said it’s one the best gifts she has ever received. She uses it every day, and the machine has had zero problems.

I owned an ‘06 GTO with the manual transmission from new and had it for almost 7 years. It was a truly fun car and I never had any issues with it. I sold it because I wasn’t driving it enough and am still a bit sad about that. However today your insurance will total it if you bend any body part as they are getting

Having owned an XJS-v12 that had an engine fire even after keeping up with all the PM to prevent said fires, I say go for it!

I have this with Volvo; the local dealer has treated me well, transactions have been no BS, so I go back.

I live in this area and have alluded to this piratical dealer in the past. Maybe with this payout they won’t be able to run those dumb commercials, which is probably wishful thinking! These are the types of dealers that will cause problems for Kia – I’m sure the company wants to move away from the buy here/pay here

Yep. Here’s a dealer in our state who was fined $1.25M for deceptive practices.

HBO was the first streaming service I signed up for and now they are removing so much of the content I like and raising the price? I fear it’s going to become the “white shiplap” channel. I’m probably reaching the end of the road with them.

We fly mostly with Delta. My spouse has been on the A220 they are flying as a regional option and said they’re not bad.

Neutral: I will miss the 747; as a passenger, it and the L-1011 were the nicest riding big aircraft in the sky. In contrast, I hate the little “lawn dart” regionals or the long-haul US domestic 737s I end up in most of the time today.

“Bad Santa” is a Christmas staple at our house. I can’t believe the late Bernie Mac didn’t get a call-out though as he’s a perfect foil to John Ritter’s character. “Half.”

Probably cops protecting a cop buddy; either a cop relative or a City employee with juice. NYC/NYPD in action, same as it ever was.

I just bought a Volvo C40. I’d been leasing an XC90 which was great, but it was too big for what I used it for.

I had a 2017 Volvo V60 T6 with the Polestar enhancement. It looks like a generic wagon but was pretty darn quick; not AMG quick but fast enough.

Just wait until we get Johnny Cab...

Gremlins fuck, especially the ones with the 5L V8 in them. All AMC cars (pre-Renault) are lovable goofballs.

I first read this as putting the LT4 into a Blazer. That would be exciting.

I once owned an ‘87 XJS-V12 coupe. It was tough to work on and you were always checking your fuel lines for leaks as there were more than a few engine fires. I kept up on all the PM, etc. and still had an engine fire. Totaled. While it was a fun highway cruiser that could eat miles, I’ve have enough of that. ND.

I’ve owned two on the list - the Europa and the SM back in the early 1980s. The Europa is a spindly car but fun. I had a Gordini model but unfortunately it was stolen and crashed.

The two door looks like it got some inspiration from the Toyota FJ Cruiser as well. It’s more angular, but I see some resemblance.

If the Recon ends up being the size of an XJ, I’m in.
