I would say x≤π/2 radians is a drift, π/2<x<π is a reverse entry drift, and a spin is x≥π.

Oh man, that semi-final in which Kristoffersson punctured a tire (rear bumper was slicing in it for the first 2.5 laps) and managed to keep the lead for almost 3 full laps. That was amazing.

He was bumped into a slide that he would have done to get around that corner. It wasn't on purpose, just good timing :)

“Spin” would insinuate he was out of control. Anyone who doesn’t think that move was done completely on purpose and resulted in exactly what Kristoffersson intended clearly doesn’t understand how rally/rallycross works.

i watched it live... he didnt get tru his semi final... but he led 5 out of 6 laps on 3 tires... was pretty impressive to see

Rally: it ain't over till all four wheels come off and the engine won't restart.

Oddly enough, that looked like the best line through that corner.

On a car - 125 horsepower at the wheels per ton/ I’m happy at 16 lbs per horsepower. Any more, I’m wondering if the car could be lighter, and any less and I’m going to get stuck behind someone slow on a two lane road and think ‘why didn’t I get a car that can make the pass?’
