Keep in mind that many of them, even if great games, are back catalog by time they’re free. Epic doesn’t have to wave a whole lot of cash in someones face for that. There are also often sequels just out or near release or have a bit of DLC. Read more
This was an issue before. It’s been a consistent issue ever since the switch from CRT tvs. Dead rising, back in 2006 had this problem. 14 years later...still an issue.

Ah yea, probably just a CDN being dumb. Chalk it up to reddits equivalent of kinja weirdness. Although since reddit is halfway competent, they’ve got a public status tracker you can check, and will usually give you an error message instead of inexplicably not working.
