TTG is also SUPER self aware.  I LOVE the episode where the fan boy kidnaps them and shows them their previous incarnation and the team is super enamored and outraged that their previous version was cancelled because it was so much better and cooler than what they are now.

Oh man, the 2011 Thundercats was an absolutely amazing cartoon that eclipsed the original in every way.  Its cancellation was an absolute crime.

I enjoy the show quite a bit myself and never really understood the hate.

I can only recall a couple of people complaining it wasn’t as good as the original, but that was usually drowned out considerably by people insisting the opposite and pointing out anyone who preferred the original was just seeing it through nostalgia goggles.

Right? Nostalgia would be saying the 2011 reboot of Thundercats wasn’t better than the original (it was). But this just looks like garbage.
