Yeah Ive been the same for the last few years. Due to personal circumstance I couldnt afford games and some I have pirated because I wanted to do something. Also with the introduction of Steam, GoG, Humble Bundle etc Ive bought more games in the last 6 years than I pirated so Im coming out ahead slowly but surely.

In a world of stale shooters Id welcome a good shooter. There's not that many shooters, its just that theyre dominating so much.

I think the commercial ones you buy in a WalMart or Best Buy will be bought by parents of young teens who asked it for their birthday/christmas and by consolepea...users who want to start with glorio.. PC gaming. Veteran PC users will make their own Steam Machines.

Probably, I mean Im sure some sales are lost due to piracy but it isnt 1 pirated copy = 1 sale. Personally if I enjoyed it Ill probably buy it on a Steam sale because I dont have the money to spend :P

Not wanting to pay for a game has a reason too. This sort of shit that 2K tends to pull makes me not want to pay for their games.

And this is why I hate 2K Games. They did the same shit with all of the Borderlands (at least BL1 got a GOTY with all DLC, none of the others have that).

Well to be fair Skyrim modding in Skyrim was kinda a main aspect, it never was with GTA. I hope Rockstar will open the game up more than GTA4 for modders.
