Excited to see someone else on here with a project Mini! I haven’t posted anything about mine yet, but I will soon and I will look forward to seeing your progress.
I did this recently and had similar success.
Who am I kidding? Yeah.... you’re right.
Smells like campfire in the office for me too! The sky has been gray all day and many coworkers face the risk of fire coming into their homes. Definitely a surreal experience seeing the Socal forest fire stuff I always saw on the news in real life now.
Burbank ATC must be lit right now
Probably an obvious choice but a large poster.
so what’s your mom’s number again?
My 0.27 Cd gives the Insight a run for its money but the the sheer size of my car gives me a CdA of 6.3
See? You’re agreeing with me and I find even that statement boring.
I traded my PC in for a Mac a few years ago. The first thing I noticed was a new urge to visit independent coffee shops and order free-range kale organic soy lattes with a lemon twist. I suddenly “got it”; not just about that wonderful coffee co-op that I found in the trendy part of town, but “it” as in…
Used to be a mac hater and handy making my own PC boxes. By the 2008 I was tired of how slow XP seemed to always be even kept clean and on good hardware so bought an iMac and never looked back.
Demon rum with possible actual demon, minimal rum. Be sure to pour some all over a pad of concrete to permanently darken it and establish a stench that will never wash out. Particularly useful if you have a dead body under the concrete you wish to mask.
It really irked me when companies started making bikes in special editions for the Red Hook Crit. I think half of the fun was that it was renegade. Now it’s renegade chic.
Really great stuff, Rob... love writing so evocative that it gets you “there” in such a short time - thanks for the lunchtime reading material. Very sorry to hear about your distraction - I hope your wife and family are doing well.
Frontier is the same ownership company that used to own Spirit. IE: They are as budget as you can get. Checking a bag will be $40 if you do it online, more at the ticket counter, and if you carry that thing all the way to the gate and have to check it there because it’s too big for the overhead (which you pay for…
Mike Arnold made video productions in California but loved flying almost more. He spent time working in Mojave repairing composite gliders and learning the foam/fiberglass art from folks in the area such as Burt Rutan’s shop. He then built the AR5 and set a 1992 speed record: 213 mph on 60hp. His videos used to cost…
Have you looked at Everlast? I have been pleased with my mig so far.
Yes it is, and so he did, and I contest neither.
Your post is almost correct. The VR6 is in one Fiero, the TDI is another Fiero, which I own and is my DD here in S/W FL. Best mileage to date 57.3 mpg. Here’s a link I started in 2013 detailing “Life with TDI Fiero”. http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/092218.html
Sequoias are pretty damn nice for the money, kinda like the “poor” man’s baby-Land Cruiser. I imagine for creature comforts that the older Land Cruiser will be about on par with most newer vehicles in that price range, give or take a little bit on either side. I think it’s a smart cross-shop at least.
