I would certainly buy Bucky as gay or bisexual man if they choose to go that way. But the scenes referenced in this article for he and Sam were not even close to queerbaiting as I read it.

Yeah I’m in the same book. I’d love for us to reach a point where male characters being close and intimate to each other wouldn’t be divided solely into either ‘queer’ or ‘queer-baiting’ because that’s still playing into societal toxic masculinity that straight men couldn’t possibly be close and intimate with their

Plus the Arrowverse King Shark wasn’t a hammerhead, and if I’ve learned anything about the DCEU it’s that they’re just going to continue to take things that worked great in the Arrowverse and do them worse.

“Hi, I’m Martian Manhunter, I am a very powerful superhero who could tip the balance in favor of the good guys winning, but I’ll be hanging back and not getting involded. Seeya in the sequel!”

Almost certainly didn’t and just crystalizes the problems of these films as a collected thing. They make no fucking sense!

I long for the day when io9 stops trying to pump air into this steaming turd of a film

Aerospace engineers in 2010: “You’ll never land a rocket on its ass reliably.

It’s what he’s been doing all along, He makes a plausible claim, then either doesn’t back it up or backs it up with stuff that makes absolutely no sense and doesn’t really make his claim any stronger

My guess is he thought Snyder’s take was fucking awful and wanted to be the one to save the franchise. But to think he could do it under those circumstances (i.e. given an impossible schedule and an arbitrary 2 hour runtime) was a really strange decision.

Snyder’s real problem is he fundamentally doesn’t understand the characters or the subject matter in his films. He didn’t understand the point of Rorschach (not a hero) or the watchmen (a story expressly against the idea of heroes). He doesn’t understand Superman (the pure ideal), Batman (a character who wants

(James Gunn, aside, maybe but that seemed more Disney than Marvel)

Whedon lazily reusing an immature sexist joke because he is underpressure from DC staff to “inject more humour” in the movie and refusing to listen to any pushback to his edicts is an issue that is completly different from reducing women to walking pair of big tits. Again, this is Joss Whedon we are criticizing here,

I still unabashedly love Age of Ultron despite its issues (and the spectre that is Joss Whedon). It still feels like the most “Avengers-y” of all the Avengers movies to me.

Why can’t we get theatrical re-releases of good movies that a lot of people might have missed in theaters? Such movies as:

“...all that happened before I found Jesus”

She is so due. She deserved to be Wonder Woman. But she keeps being sabotaged by horrible, sexist writing, from Wonder Woman to Lady Jaye. That Seth McFarlane was able to give her one of meatiest role to date sjows how underused she is.

I still want a Mockingbird special goddammit.

If it were “Scarlett & Lady Jaye” you’d have me on board. Sadly my G.I. Joe cartoon watching days were pre-Lady Jaye so I’m just not familiar enough with her.

Moments like this remind me that there are a ton of assholes that frequent this site that think their cars are more important than people’s lives.

What is the justification for selling street legal cars that can travel in excess of 100 MPH?
