All-Star Superman, and you can certainly read it without readng any other Superman. It's an iconic take outside of all other continuity, meant to be read standalone.

I actually worked on this comic. It was drawn and coloured in my old studio, and I helped out with some of the colouring. I'm also drawn into issue 10,

That's so cool. So what comic is this strip from? One shot? Mini series? Easy to get into without knowing much about the Superman universe? I'm curious to give it a read.

Just one of the reasons All-Star Superman is the best Superman story ever. Grant Morrison just nails every aspect of the character and what he can be for people.

And there go the waterworks. I was already primed by the article, and this did it.

Agreed.

Most superheroes are power fantasies for the most part, but the really good ones tend to be something that you're meant to aspire to be...which is essentially what Superman was always meant to be, even in the fiction.

He was sent to Earth to show humans what they could be if they tried hard enough.

So seeing him

I'm dealing with relationship issues at the moment and I realize that it's the smallest set of words that have so much power to make what feels like the end of the world seem like a speed bump.

Man, talk about a series that sums up what can make Superman great. This run still ranks as the best set of Superman stories I've ever read.

I'll admit I don't really enjoy Superman as a superhero. A lot of it is the typical stuff you're used to hearing by now. Too many powers, blah, blah, blah.

Alright, I teared up, fuck, that's me for the day.

Even devoid of what I assume must be context, this made me tear a little

Personally, I think the previous generation struggled with it too, it just wasn't identified as depression. Either that or they were too busy working to really think about their depression.

Avoid the month of November then. I am really dreading what type of deals they will have on everything that month.

... that was, perhaps, the best deus-ex related pun I've ever had the misfortune of coming across. Well played.

So what you're saying is that reality is... sans Sarif?

It doesn't seem to be that difficult to build it. However, getting the right parts and the right color, is the only difficulty I can see.

The amazon reviews are terrible. I would never spend 170 bucks on a coffeepot that has such a high risk of breaking/pooping out, which is what looks like happened to around 1/5 of the people that left a review. Screwwww that.

If that is the first couple of words out of your mouth to a woman, then YES! It's creepy! It's an incredibly personal question, especially right off the bat, and if that's the first thing you ask a woman you've never met before, you've made it very clear to her what it is you're interested in. And it's going to make

"Wait, how does that tease a Hoenn remake? Well, "facility" could be a nod to the Battle Frontier in Ruby and Sapphire, a challenging area that players could access after beating the Elite Four in the single-player."

That coffee maker looks/sounds like Heaven. I picked a bad month to be broke.
