As I said, it's a culture problem. Not a hiring problem. You shouldn't blame Sony for a cultural problem that exists throughout gaming.

A lack of female execs isn't a hiring problem or company problem. It's a culture problem. Females just don't go into gaming. They might be enjoying it in larger numbers nowadays but for the past few decades you had barely any females learning how to code and do level design, etc.

You clearly haven't been exposed to these people much. I would actually say that nerds - in the truest sense of the obsessive kind, - have no problem with women. But there are crude types that infest online communities who are just as crude towards women in real life.

The major difference so far is trade and monarch points.

The feature to form nations? Or the feature to play as any ridiculous nation? Because both are still in the game.

Heh. I played an unholy amount of Eu3. I've formed GB, Russia, Romania, Wallachia, Scandinavia, Hindustan, Netherlands, Germany... Pretty much anything except Spain. Spain is always kinda easy to play as.

To go back to the example you gave, Civ 5 has a screen for both cities, trade, diplomacy and religion. It has a breakdown of your income in terms of both aspects with religion and diplomacy factored in as well.

Hm. I guess your view on accessible is different to mine.

That's the thing about Paradox's games... It appears you have to keep track of a lot when, in fact, you are allowed to keep track of very little due to automation of processes that will alert you when something bad is happening. I actually find Starcraft 2 and the likes to involve a lot more multi-tasking than EU4.

A tutorial is fine. But everything in every part of the interface has informative tooltips if you hover over it, with most even going so far as to explain the mechanics behind it. The top of the screen has everything you ever need to pay attention to in the form of alerts. It does all of the basic watching for you.

I don't know what you are talking about. I have never once used a hotkey in any of Paradox's games.

You should! A high-tech America changes the game incredibly.

I would say the UI isn't the problem. It's fairly accessible as is. It's more down to just learning about each element of the game. And unless you scrap some of the depth then you can't have it any more accessible than it is already.

It's not stealing jackass. Seriously. It's not like going to a store and taking something. It's like going to a store, looking at a jacket you like, taking the exact specifications and printing one on a fancy 3D printer. That's copyright infringement; Not stealing. In some countries it's not even copyright

Saints Row 4 will likely make about the same ROI as GTA5.

Wait... What? Aren't religious groups the ones who always target games? :p

I'm someone who buys and plays a lot of games. I'm a part of any target audience with regards to games except for Kinect exclusives. Because fuck that shit.

I get far more time out of Europa Universalis than I do with any MMO. I like MMOs but sheesh, give it a rest mate. Some people prioritize their time on different things. Some people play MMOs for an hour or two of raiding each week. Some people play Skyrim religiously searching every cave for hundreds of hours.

I think you failed to read his statement correctly. I'll point out the part to you that makes your entire diatribe pointless.

Nobody. He has made his mind up already and, unless looking to open a dialogue - which he clearly isn't due to the absolutes he used,- then you should leave well enough alone and accept that he has his own opinion.
