Yep. Organic guiding describes DD fairly well. With Dark Arisen, it only introduces tutorials as information for certain mechanics, and not as a gameplay introduction, with the game opening up the moment you reach the capital.
Like what we expect from Itsuno, he delivers on making games appealing to fans and skill-based/rewarding gameplay. However, since DD is such a niche series, I expect newcomers to refund this game after noticing their average gameplay experience is not like this:
DD has more similarities to MH than Dark Souls, which a lot of people like to do(ugh). The emphasis is on the gameplay and combat, which it excels at: climbing towering boss enemies, some bosses having limbs that can be lobbed off and looted, etc.. DD2 seems to introduce lures, so yes, the MH influence is definitely…

Well, it’s not stopping them from taking more, is it?
As an appreciator for the arts, I believe culture’s obsession with just consuming is, in theory, because we haven’t been actively taught to appreciate the arts and the effort put into things we consume. As a writer, it’s absolutely disheartening seeing so many gamers not understand good writing, whether on book, or…
No butts about it; I agree.
Take your star... TAKE IT, DAMN YOU - because I’m that easy.
...I’ll admit that was a feat. But a stupid one.
Hm, might explain why AGs are making more and more power grabs. The case in point: The Kids Online Safety Act
And by “anti-American”, they mean “We don’t have control over the content on the app, and it’s making our favorite psychopathic fascist committing genocide look bad. :( “
Sorry for the cloned reply.

News flash: our prison “rehabilitation” system doesn’t exactly rehabilitate, but more like molds prisoners to send them back to prison after they’re out. However, in this case, as long as you’re well connected and/or have money, this happens.
Yes. AI is just a tool right now for the business executives, and they’re not exactly bastions nor patrons of human creativity. They see nothing but numbers and gains.
Yes. AI is just a tool right now for the business executives, and they’re not exactly bastions nor patrons of human creativity, let alone humanity. They see nothing but numbers and gains.
I don’t disagree, but I had meant that with the technology and how it’s being used by an increasingly antagonistic business executive class against the working class to control people’s likeness, art styles, voices, etc, when it’s pretty well known the executive class don’t contribute to projects creatively but assert…
It’s not much of a secret that toxic business executives have been becoming more anti-worker since COVID’s peak, and with the rise of “A.I.” an excuse to share that disdain towards creative people in the industry. It’s definitely canned, because OW as a live-service product, doesn’t need pesky “writers” to enrich them.
I feel AI is just a product that gives the soulless executives the reins of control from the creative people that we take for granted. This is quite the expression of such.
