Oi. Picked up GTA V last night because $15 on Steam, and it took me 3 hours after downloading to get it to work right. As soon as I saw the Rockstar launcher I remember why I stopped playing GTAIV. Crashes, reboots, unsaved configs.

Hey look!  It’s an artificially created class war the reflects the current political climate due to economic divides!

The chipset, at its core, is more than capable enough. The problem is that Nintendo gimped it, by halving its clock speeds (in handheld), a little less so in docked mode. They had their reasons (battery life, heat dissipation, etc), of course; whether you disagree with them or not is another story.

You can blame consoles and blu-rays for that space bloat.

Motion blur is an abomination, and cheapest / easy trick to increase fps on a limited system is to remove the AA and up the rez; oi.

Look, as an avid PC builder / gamer, I get it, but 4k is really wasted on a 5" display. Also, unless you’ve got a Shield K1 w/o an asploded battery (and you don’t mind the input lag), it’s a lot more difficult to play The Witcher from the most throneliest of thrones - the porcelain throne - from your console in the

So, how are controls on the Switch? The assumption on my end is that touch controls are enabled? Does that make the “consolized” experience any better?

Or, you know, play Lego City Undercover. Which is... somehow, an amazing child friendly open world game.

My favorite thing was after his election all the people saying “everything is going to be fine, you’ll see”.

I want to clarify that 4 hours is about the best a slightly unreasonable full time job adult could probably do on a daily with a kid and family to support.

I’m an avid gamer, playing at least 4hours a day minimum - admittedly across PC and the Switch. But I absolutely hear what you’re saying - any wear and tear should be related to time used.

Anecdotal here - have a launch day switch with an extra pair of joy-cons. Also, we now have 2 Switch Lites. 4yo been using the original Switch.

I don’t get how this is happening to people. You’re not the only one with the issue, clearly. But I have a launch day Switch that I’ve been sharing with my now 6yo son (he’s been using it since he was 4) and I do not have this issue? None of our controllers have drift?

Um, I can’t be the only one that sees that this is backwards? A subscription service for a bunch of hand picked games by the service provider is... Cable TV. This is the cable TV for gaming. I’m not saying all the included games (channels) are bad; but... you’re paying a subscription fee for, more than likely, one or
