My 1984 Corolla SR5 had 70hp (on a good day)

My 1991 Toyota Celica had 130hp lol

Seriously?  Hybrids generally give better city MPG numbers due to stop and go driving, regenerative braking, and minimized use of ICE gas engine.

Given how software-heavy new cars are and how much reliance there is on infotainment and safety systems working properly, OTA updates aren’t a nice-to-have anymore, they’re a requirement to keep these cars on the road and not sitting in line at the dealer for updates. I know it won’t reduce your cloud-yelling, but

don’t blame ford for this.

Maverick prices have been creeping up as well. 2 grand isn’t a huge increase from launch, but it’s 10%. I still want one in the next couple years. Hopefully an XLT is still under $30k by then.

Plenty of manufacturers actually accept 1 quart for 1000 miles before they will do something, and this includes Japanese makers.

“And 95 percent of our customers tow more than 10,000 pounds,”

Have you priced out a lifted F250 lately? 57k is getting off cheap.

Ram need to come out with a FJB edition. It should be festooned with only the finest decals available at the swap meet. There needs to be no less than 4 flag mounts in the bed. One for displaying a shredded US flag and the other three for a rotation of flags with various expletives on them. It also needs a fake

Manufacturers can and will offer test drives (like Tesla) when the Dealership Cartel allows them. The problem is that many dealerships are the literal definition of ‘good ol’ boys’ whose families have spent the last 100+ years ripping off their customers, lining their pockets, and bribing local politicians.

Once, while driving south on I-95 through South Carolina in my Mustang hardtop, I got a sunburn on my thigh, from the sun coming through the driver’s window and then through my jeans. A hat isn’t going to solve sunburn problems.

Sounds like we found one of the assholes that goes to these gatherings. And this was not the only incident. If you follow the threads on social media Wildwood people are claiming the police blotter was filled the whole weekend with accidents and other carnage. And there was at least one other incident with serious

You sound exactly like a “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” MAGAt.

The unsactioned gathering is what draws these folks in. This guy was just the worst offender becuase he killed two people.  Please tell me what “other points of view” I should examine about having modded cars drag race in the middle of a small town with a lot of pedestrian traffic.

That’s a big assumption there buddy....that I would support reckless driving anywhere let alone in my own community where my neighbors and friends would be at risk. Do I support people modding their own cars even if I think it looks silly? Sure. If these folks want to “unnoffically” get together in a big parking lot

Primary use for me is to tow a boat. Secondary is going to sporting events. Third is hauling stuff for my house.

Becasue that is what sells, there are plenty of work trucks out there for you

I get a lot more use out of my center console in my current truck than I ever did out of the bench seat in my former truck.  Plus in the new truck the passengers can sit in the back seat.

Up until a few weeks ago, I worked in the tech industry. ( now in a totally different industry) But anyway, all of the major tech firms have large annual shows meant to highlight their new offerings and attract both customers and current users. Some of these were massive, taking up entire city blocks with 75,000+
