As you may know, my husband and I are dog-sitting for my in-laws, and their dog has had some serious tummy troubles since yesterday.
So my husband and I are dogsitting MILNC (that's "My In-Laws' Neurotic Chihuahua", naturally). We have her until late Sunday.
In other news, I just ate a truly obscene number of cherries, and now I feel a little sick. How are your evenings, GTers?
I only got one picture and it's kind of shitty, but it's a start.
We just took in the sweetest, skinniest stray you ever saw. Right now he's holed up in his "safe zone" (the basement). We're taking him to the vet tomorrow, so fingers crossed that he doesn't have feline leukemia or something.
So a friend of mine who lives down the street just called to tell me that there have been 2 break-ins in our neighborhood today.
I bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf. And yes, it is fun.
A) I hear some sort of critter rustling about in the backyard but I can't go out to investigate because I can't find my flip-flops and I have weird thing about walking on grass barefooted.
Soooooooo long story short, there is a great deal of white latex-based paint in places where it shouldn't be—namely, my brick hearth and the glass-and-metal fireplace screen. And it won't. Come. Off.
He seems so sweet and innocent...until he climbs on your lap and lets loose a noxious feline fart from the bowels of hell. Lord have mercy.
Today my husband and I were working out in the garden, clearing out weeds and things. The lady who lives across the street walked over and was like, "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BUSH THAT WAS HERE?'
But I got this email from DoSomething.org regarding Ken Hoinsky's PUA guide, Above the Game:
about grabbing a woman's ass on the street. He'll be feeling it tomorrow.
I finished The Last of Us! It was amazing, and I really wanna talk about it but I don't think any fellow Groupthinkers are playing/have beaten it :(
The Last of Us? I AM! Early thoughts:
Read this yet? I thought most of it was pretty spot-on.
We're having some intense storms out here where I am. A few hours ago, when the storm was on the verge of being right on top of us, my husband was like, "Hey, wanna go for a walk?"
The Last of Us comes out. Not gonna lie, I'm definitely gonna grab it at the midnight release.
