True. they were making SUVs before they were cool like the Scout and the Travelall. Honestly i would buy something like that now instead I have to buy a pickup and put a shell on it. The Tahoe/Expedition is just a four-door minivan now. You end up paying for much more than you want or need.

With the C-pillar so big, looks like it could be a Ram Mega cab.

Because it is not about harmful emissions, it’s purely about reducing CO2 which increasing mpg does extremely well. Not burned, no CO2 generated.

Damn Andrew. As a big Scout guy, you’d think you would have this website as one of your favorites.

Are you kidding me? That vehicle you show would be infinitely more comfortable than that Roxor. And it’s a thre seater, dump box, and front locking diff. Advantage Honda. People make hundred mile trips in those machines all the time. And options are as great as you want. All the way up to a completely enclosed cab

No they are not, they are just demonstrators who will go back to their basements and blame all their troubles on someone else. The same way that not everyone at a global warming rally is an eco-terrorist who is willing to harm a human to save a monkey. The best thing to do is ignore them and no one will even know they

I understand your frustration but that thought process is the problem. The most violent protesters right now are the Left in public perception. A modern Nazi protester is not a guard from Auschwitz, most are idiot white men who have never committed a violent act. Why make them the victims? So now the government,

Why the hell would they seek out a real gun to take this pic? It isn’t that important to the story. If you don’t actually have one, it’s not that easy to access one for a quick pic. Actually, you should have pointed out the use of a gun basically goes contrary to the story. The story being that a burglar will not

Great....2023 and the Crossover is still popular......

Nice article. 🙂

The Roxor is not street legal and can’t be made street legal for safety reasons. But nobody would ever think of driving this or a sxs to a trail anyway. You would drive one around a small town that has trails around it though. Check out W. Virginia Hatfield&McCoy ATV trails. It’s legal to drive straight to your hotel

Ok, I understand, you probably don’t have much experience with SxS or UTVs. There are the go fast, desert dune machines ala Yamaha YXZ1000, CanAm Maverick, or the the Turbo Razor. But the larger market, are the utility type that do not go fast, but crawl everywhere. These are the Honda Pioneer, Yamaha Wolverine,

The Roxor is marketed as a SxS. For the same price you can buy a true SxS UTV that is 2-3x the machine. The Roxor is a toy and nothing more in the US market.”

Never said I agreed with FCA. But I do understand their concern that confusion over the brand would occur. Show any ten people a profile of a Roxor and they will say it is a Jeep. I just don’t see any value or future in the vehicle. There is no niche for it to fill.

That’s kinda the whole point, it’s not an old Jeep. David proved that out. If you want to really go off-road well, then this doesn’t work. Same thing using your example: if someone builds something that looks like a 3ooZX but has a gutless motor, poor tranny, and shitty brakes, what does that do for you? Not fun to

If one could afford to have an off-road only vehicle, why a Roxor? There are plenty of UTVs that provide the same function and can be had for less.

In the absence of headlights, that very well could happen. Which is why you shouldn’t drive with just parking lights on......

Hey. to each his own. I don’t judge.

Nice! The best one I remember was from the tv show “The Fall Guy” ~79 Chevy with a hidden compartment behind the cab as part of the bed.

I own a 1984 Jeep CJ7. It’s easier to list what is stock then what has been modded. Let’s see, frame is stock, hood & front fenders, transfer case, tranny, seat brackets, front bumper and tailgate. Everything else is aftermarket or from a YJ or has been modified.
