That’s debatable. I made an offer to a dealer and he wouldn’t take it for the one on the lot. I told him I’d order it and he said ok. Biggest reason? He made $2K that day for doing nothing other than paperwork.

Damn you Tom. I got excited when I read “2019 Eagle Premier”. Thought maybe the new guy at FCA got real crazy real fast.

David, that is the most Jeep thing anyone could say. All good Jeep boys and girls want the 258 under the hood, even now in 2018 I want one. Ease of maintenance, torque by design and damn near equal power to a V8. Don’t forget what Clifford Performance had cast into their manifolds “6=8"

Hey, welcome back! Enjoy your vaca?

Vegas is about over indulging so why not? They aren’t trying to impress anyone around Vegas. That’s like renting a tesla around San Jose expecting to impress people how “green” you are.

You still don’t make sense. Car engineering changes, equipment changes and we are fine. They are not changing this because people are too lazy to use their brakes. It is a design feature of an all-electric car. And I guarantee, in a panic, people will still stomp on that big pedal like they have for a hundred years.

What about “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir”?

So you want them to go back to having to manually turn off the turn signals as well? Yeah, that’ll be helpful. Screw it, make them stick their hands out like old school drivers ed. I do agree, better driver ed would be nice but we just have too many different state/local laws. Bottom line, the more the car can do for

Ahhhh, a good ole’number 36, I remember it well.

People use their lights much more now then before auto-lights so it’s a good thing. This really isn’t a stretch from normal driving. They haven’t removed the brake pedal. Are we worried that they may stop and try to fill it with gas as well? Because that’s what we always did. Think of how people had to relearn

I understand your concern but think about it, people already do this. It’s like saying active cruise control will get people to confident and they will slam into someone.

No power brakes, no power steering. That’s what my first vehicle had or more accurately, didn’t have.

Give me AMC and the Jeep Compass/Patriot would never have happened. The Eagles would be killing Subaru. A full-size truck would be there as well.

lol....Niiice!

Losing a 5" floppy for the PET......yeah.

Nice to see he splurged for the bucket seats.

Agreed, but that is in fact called a “shirt”, a “C” shirt to be exact. The cammie top and dress blue top are examples of a blouse. Still, props for even knowing the term without wearing one.

Exactly. As I told my hooch mates in the desert. “If my rack is squeaking look over at your own risk. If you make eye contact with me, you better lick your lips to help me along. If you look at my junk, well, that’s your problem.

What do I wish I knew? That my truck was totaled by the insurance company a year before I bought it. It did not show up on Carfax for 3 years after I bought it. It still had a clean title as the insurance company never took ownership of it, the original owner kept it and had it repaired. Since the title did not change

David, he can obviously afford better! I’m thinking Willys Wagon.
