The Tim Ryan story is pretty typical. I interned with Rush Holt (former Dem Representative from NJ, a former nuclear scientist and regulator, and really a wonderful human being) and the experience was essentially the same.
First of all, how is 23andMe still a sponsor? Without massive immigration, they would have no business model at all, since their sales are largely to people looking to do genealogy work.

How you see the context and results of this sit-down depend a lot on (among other things) your political experience and your patience with Chuck and Nancy. I thought it went pretty well, but maybe my understanding of politics is different than the author/many commenters. Who knows?
