If you're considering a new PWC the new Spark is a great choice. Top speed may be "only" 50mph, but most PWCs aren't going faster than that unless the water is relatively calm anyway so who cares? You'll be able to get some serious air with this thing and you'll be able to whip the rear end around. You'll have so

My current PWC is 690 pounds, so I understand what you mean when you say you can take high speeds in a deep carve with this Kawi. That extra weight definitely provides the stability to hold your line. I feel like this was something that buyers wanted, and the manufacturers responded.

People don't realize that if you're jet ski weighs 1,000 pounds you NEED 310 horsepower if you want to have any semblance of fun.

First of all that's not me. Secondly, the horsepower has much less effect on how much air you'd get that the weight will. I'm not sure if you're trolling or if you're just dumb, but I assume it's a combination of both. Have a nice day.

Oh and by the way, my "crappy old Doo" was named Watercraft of the century by Watercraft World Magazine in 2000. Every manufacturer has since it's introduction tried to copy it due to it's success.

Excuse me? It was actually. They have the same top speed, and the 420 lb. XP was much more agile. Due to it's weight, this new 1,000 lb Kawi will never come anywhere close to doing this:

Usually there's a 200 pound cock in the BMW.

I've got 500+ hours of PWC experience. My first thought was that 310 horsepower is ridiculous, but not when you consider it weighs over 1,000 pounds. I grew up on a '96 Seadoo XP, which weighed only 420 pounds and still put out 110hp. I've gotten that thing several feet in the air and that was the most fun aspect

Okay so let's work with a typical scenario that causes accidents — merging from on highway on-ramps. A motorist traveling at a highway speed fails to see you merging in front of him at a lower speed. Does this system apply the brakes to his car, or your car, or both? What about steering input? I really don't think

As far as I know you're correct, it's not a production car. I'm really hoping it does become one sometime soon though. That sound!

Formula Ford Ecoboost is lighter, at 500 kg. Not sure how you would define a production car, but it's completely road legal.

82.9 inches. It was the Crown Imperial, by the way.

Yeah but every letter in "Toyota" can be found in it's logo! That's cool.

I was trying to compare those cars directly to the CRX. I was saying that relative to the cars we have available right now, that's the closest we're going to get.

You just made my point for me. They are feeding America's thirst for excess, and we're damn thirsty for stupid technology that we can brag to our friends about. Most people aren't like us - they don't know or care what their car weighs, it's displacement, etc. Most Americans ONLY car about stupid shit like heated

I understand that, but these cars best represent the attributes that made the CRZ a great choice in '87 — affordable, practical, good handling, manual trans, etc. All modern cars are heavier, and that's a good thing because they are safer and offer more comfort. The cars I listed are light relative to other cars

I know that, obviously I didn't consider the European cars because this is an American website and I was replying to an American commenter. All cars have gotten heavier these days, there's not much we can do about that due to safety regulations and modern tech. If you're looking for the same attributes that the

I have no idea what your saying. I'll just rephrase my original point instead. The CRX was a cheap small hatch that afforded customers with a rewarding driving experience, without sacrificing fuel economy or practicality. The cars I've listed are leaders in this category today. If we bought more of them,

At your local Ford, Volkswagen and Subaru dealers. The Fiesta ST is incredible, one of the best cars on sale today. The Golf is still the Golf, and that's a very good thing. The Impreza 5-door is a solid choice as well, of course offering all wheel drive. Most importantly, all are available with a manual and all

Honda Should Be Making Cars Like The CRX Again
