I think they dug the idea of a Trek convention, but maybe didn’t know a lot about the show, the canon, etc. I mean, they asked the nice Vulcan lady some valid questions, and seemed to be really interested in the Caitian dude, despite having, like, no clue. It’s more like they were having fun playing around…

Saw this on /r/ObscureMedia on Reddit! If I recall correctly, it’s not for local news — it was just the ‘interviewer’ and his buddy the cameraman screwing around. Hence the gooftacular hand-drawn FX and the ‘interviewer’s lack of professionalism.
