There are lots of countries that don’t eat “bad” American food that still got totally pummeled with covid. Countries that eat Mediterranean diets had bad covid. Asian countries where everyone is vegetarian got bad covid. It’s like covid is maybe a global pandemic.

The internet being what it is, I’m confident there’s significant overlap. The temptation for both communities to lurk and troll each other just seems way too great.

Seriously. Lots of “it would never happen to me!” here. And no acknowledgment that pre-kids domestic labor is a drop in the bucket compared to what happens after kids. He may be doing exactly what he did before kids, but it’s like a dribble compared to the onslaught of drudgery afteward.

I am fortunate that I’m in an area with a good vaccination rate and people who are generally good about wearing masks. I got vaccinated as soon as I was eligible.  But my 7 year old starts school tomorrow (masked, and our Principal requested we wear masks even outdoors while on campus), and winter is not soon enough…
