That cabbage patch place is terrifying...never felt so out of place in my life. Was forced to make a stop there after a visit to the hole that is Helen.

I do love working from home.

Just figured out that if you have a roku you can download the dailymotion channel and stream it through that. They are handling the feed for the le mans site.

They would likely weigh more. The aluminum panels weigh next to nothing, carbon would be thicker. But i will give you that they would look pretty sweet. They would also exploded on any sort of impact.

After watching a gsx launch from a standstill back in the 90's, i fell in love with the idea of turbo awd for ever.

In case anyone wasn't aware you can watch this racing series on youtube. its under the GT world channel.

Now playing

Here's some video of the engine from this weekend.

I'm pretty sure I just found my next project.

Not that hard to believe, I'm building a lotus 7 replica right now and when its all said and done I'll have around a 1000hrs into it plus $7-10k and that from building it from a set of plans. These guys are replicating a car, on there own, and making it exact to the original... a original that costs $4m to get ahold

Supercharged Miata 1.6, here's a link to the build log and a photo from a few weeks ago.

Or build one from scratch for less than $10k very well equipped. Started one about 6 months ago, and I'm very happy where its heading (should be done by next year). Not the instant gratification of just buying one, but mine won't suffer from depreciation and I can have it exactly how I want. In the end it will be

Stilo for sure, you feel like a cross between a race car driver and fighter pilot. Here's mine wrapped and ready for the 24hrs of America Kart race this weekend.

So this is the Subaru BRZ STI TS. Yeah that is only slightly more awkward to explain, then when I have to explain that I drive a Subaru Impreza... WRX... STI...

I hate to say it but, I owned a modified Grand Vitara about 10 years ago. It was a pretty solid car... well until I shattered the rear diff. Then it was just a $500 trade in.

Thanks Nick,

Need I say more?
