I imagine this type of scenario is not common but it's the one reason I continue to never be a part of Kickstarter. There's simply too much opportunity for the ONE project I decide to help fund, fail. I know many people who have backed popular games like Shovel Knight but believe me, if I support something, it'll

So basically don't get your hopes up for any of the details above to actually come to fruition. Just know that something will happen but it could be anything by the time you're able to file a claim. Got it.

Where did the $1000 cost come from?

"No word on price, but if you're having to ask, you probably won't be paying."

So will the rewards be tied to the platform you play the beta on? I'm playing on PS3 now to see if it's a game I'll like but will probably play on XB1 once I buy it next month.

Wolfenstein is an unfortunately highly overlooked game. It's incredibly well done and plays great. One thing to warn though for people on PC: It's approx 44GB fully installed. Yuck. But well worth the space if you have it.

So you rank worst to best and yet other people are doing it the other way around or the same? I'm confused. I hate being confused.

Never played any of these Smash games. I think I'm missing out on something here...

I just played through this recently and I must say, it went by a lot faster than I remembered the first time I played it. Maybe I was just so into playing it again that the time just flew by but man I really need more of it.

"EVERYONE wanted to meet with me..."

As much as I hate to admit it, I completely agree. I like the idea of being able to have open discussions with other players but when the trolls come in and do nothing but spew out their trash chat and everyone and their mother come in to express their dissatisfaction with it, it's all downhill from there. Too many

I've held off on buying the XB1 up until now but this will be the game that gets me to buy one. Such a great value, I'll finally be part of the cool crowd...

I think I misread the article. I just saw it was posed as an Unofficial event unless that changed in the article. Either way, it still looks bad.

Wow, I'm really happy my nephews weren't planning to go to this event, don't think they knew about it honestly. They would have been CRUSHED if they were. They love this game so so much and something like this would just be a huge letdown. Reading some of those comments above in the FB feed are heartbreaking.

I don't know, there are so many other talented people in the industry that have a lot of good games to their name as well and they never come off to me like this guy does. Yeah at the end of the day maybe he's just a guy really enjoying the fruits of his labor but I swear it just rubs me the wrong way at every turn.

Yep, I completely agree with ya. And once Romero went out on his own, he got precisely what he deserved...

No he got his 'status' for being a good bit douchey at times when people had decent things to say about his games. He writes articles and has comments for the industry as though his word is gospel. Nothing he's been a part of was solely produced and designed by him. And yet it seems he's the only one that ever gets

I'll admit the guy has been involved in some good games and yeah, he's got some talent. But I swear the way he comes off to the community with him embellishing his celebrityism can be a bit lame at times. If his game has good reviews, I'll consider it. But that won't change the fact that he's way too arrogant for my

"Sorry. There was an issue with playback."

I'm gonna finish watching that later but through the first 5 mins, I don't know why I'm more impressed by. Those guys were rocking those tunes... brilliant. And yet he was able to do what he does with all that going on. Crazy impressive.
