Also the end of the sentence. If the vast majority of people that use this website aren't already aware of 90% of this list (and thus either using the application, or using an alternative that they chose over the ones on this list), I would be very surprised. Especially since they've promoted a large number of them

I calls it how i sees it. Why bother making a list of apps that are already of the most well known apps in their category. Everyone is probably already using them or purposefully using an alternative

Almost half of my best friends are from my college years. So in that regard, college can be great! But as far as college itself goes, I can literally do anything in my day to day job that I could have done coming out of high school (software engineer, that happened to enjoy programming as a past-time in highschool).

They are idiots for not properly dealing with it, especially when they let out the rumor that they had thought about using a woman in the first place. I feel like any of the following responses would have made them sound less like assholes and this wouldn't have been a big controversy in the first place:

One of the few ones of these where I actually believe everything that they carry around. (half the other ones are like 2 tablets, a laptop, and 35 other things. I especially agree with the cards. I've found a good deck of cards is often a good thing to carry around when waiting for something.

Not that I'll probably ever buy an iphone, but the lack of a swyping keyboard has always been a dealbreaker for me. Good for you apple, I knew it was inevitable, and I was wondering how long it was going to take for them to allow for it.

Chrome with ABP installed has the same problem. It's definitely ABP, or whatever both browsers are as a result of what ABP is doing.

Exactly the same. I still see that TabMixPlus and DownloadStatusbar are both alive and kicking, but at this point they're unnecessary imo. I'm down to ABP, Session Manager (because i never get my tabs back like i want if i dont have it D:<), and Sage++.

Ive tried multiple times to get something useable from rainmeter, but its just takes too much effort, and half or more of the themes that people make are really gaudy or have way too much going on for me to want to put in the effort.

I don't think this is really contest for the given list(obviously this is a very opinionated topic, but...), being as objective as I can be. In my opinion, SublimeText vs LimeText (maybe) vs Atom.io vs brackets.io vs one of the better web-based webeditors, would have been a much more interesting comparision.

Has anyone tried running 14.04 in a vm (vmware specifically)? I tried it on VirtualBox but was getting terrible performance. So I switched to vmware, but unfortunately at the moment I only have 1 monitor, so "Unity Mode" is the only way its really useable. But equally unfortunately, "Unity Mode" just wont work. Ive

Desktop with symlinks to commonly used folders that have watchdogs to automatically deal with the files. Drag a music folder onto music, which really points at my temporary music folder in the user folder, which MusicBee is set to automatically import music from that folder. Etc for other things. I should really come

looks like cake compared to double dash's rainbow road

i dont mean on the sd card, I mean in total. If I have a terabyte of data i want to sync, I don't want to have a terabyte HD attached to my pi. I only really need a couple gb or so (probably less) to keep the delta of what the clients don't have synced.

Ive always enjoyed my steelseries siberia V2s. The nice ability to retract the mic into the headset itself makes it nice for when I'm not gaming but still want nice over the ear headphones

I suppose as a custom setup I could do this with my raspberry pi the same way you did the pogoplug so thanks for the idea! but I still think it's a nice idea that someone should implement into a product. I guess the problem with that, is that if dropbox, say, were to do it, they would just be encouraging people to buy

No, those let you store X Gb for free, then you run out of space and have to pay more. This will only upload things to the server when something is added to one of the devices when one of the other devices is not connected, and once all devices are up to date on a particular file, it gets removed to save space. If

None of these solutions really tickle my fancy. I want a free service that just acts as a 1Gb (more if you pay) cache, whereby it does the same thing as bittorrent sync, and keeps my stuff in synch, but doesn't need both/all of the computers the are connected to be online at the same time.

I feel as though this effort would have been better spent (and taken less effort) coming up with a script to automatically download and set up most (I don't know portable the kernel modules would be) of this inside a preexisting wheezy install.

that's not how you really hold a bow, sigh. Also the fact that she had it strung, across her chest whenever she's not using it, and the string bends around her body. I know its a game, but I feel like it really wouldnt be all that big of a deal to keep an eye out for something like that.
