it was his own fault for taking a company like that public that early. If the site was a bit more mature and likely to be making money and continue making money then sure, you'll end up making more by going public. But especially for wholely online companies, I can see it being difficult to do. Look at the whole

Has he mentioned anything on about the random jumps in what the rocks towards the end look like? To me it looked like a problem with the draw distance or something, but it was happening with objects that I thought were really close.

The PC i build now, while it may cost a fairly large amount more than a console, will in all honesty probably be able to play any game at settings that match or better the new generation of consoles for probably 4 or 5 years if not longer. This being an estimate for a single gpu setup. Then in 4 or 5 years, I buy a

So they make $120,000 a year? That seems like a bit much, unless you are also implying that they moreso get paid on a more granular scale (monthly, meaning no salary) in which case their lack of a guarantee of a next pay check would probably mean to me that that is more reasonable since I would assume they don't

Ive always liked the market basket and hannafords store brand frozen pizzas! I assumed most stores had a store brand similar to them

enjoy your red rings and inability to back anything up and lower graphic quality and having to drop another $500 on a completely new machine in 6 or 7 years and inability to use mouse and keyboard (even though he can use a console controller) and having to own/buy a computer anyway, and paying to (probably) get most

Happens to me, though its not the code itself. Ill be thinking of a problem that I'm having or debating on the best way to implement something, go to sleep, and when I wake up I usually can think of a (after remembering the problem and thinking about my dreams) a more elegant or more fully thought out solution than

Ah, acceptable. I thought you were implying that Chrome doesnt and FF does, and i was about to laugh.

Its probably because they know you're going to buy stuff regardless. they're targetting the people that have linked credit cards, but dont often buy things ;)

firefox, kill plugin_container.exe (i think that's what its called). Though from my experience, every crash in Chrome has led to a whole browser crash.

doesn't fall short on extensions? what?

Even if the utility itself isn't too heavy on system resources, i was under the impression that having it do the emulation (as least as of a couple weeks ago) cut your battery life very short.

You need to realize that you don't need all the pinned tabs. I used to have 4. facebook, gmail, school hub thing, and something else whose purpose eludes me. Ive brought that down to 1 because facebook is now a once a week sort of thing if that. school can be accessed much more easily if I just do ctrl+t, n, enter.

Sage++ (Higmmer's edition) is the only thing i've ever found that comes close to what I'm looking for, and its the only Sage fork that has continued to be updated. Needless to say, since its a Firefox extension, single browser solution.

The only game I've even heard of having compatibility issues with windows 8 is Fallout 3. And even then, that was right when win8 came out, and at the time there were workarounds. Stop lying to the masses.

clearly, since it was originally written in Javan, then rewritten for mobile/pi and rewritten again in C++ for XBLA. And he almost certainly didnt do any low level stuff in the xbla c++ port if he did any of the porting at all

lol, but he programmed it in java, a high level language. Nice wit

This would be more profitable for them (i bet) if they had just made it pay what you want. If there was a $20 minimum for the humble indie bundles, but you got 2 more games, they would probably make half as much money if not less. Especially for windows programs where they'll want you to pay to upgrade, they'd

While they are, I wouldn't say that its because its less powerful, its because it usesless power, is cheap, and is very small. It could be as powerful as a normal computer and that wouldn't really change the intended use.

isn't the problem there that I can't play files that aren't supported, like mpeg?
