My point was that this stock ROM gets updated pretty much only when there are FIRMWARE updates, which you can see by the **LP* whatever firmware reference number, for instance LPY is a later firmware version than LPX - these updates are from Samsung, nothing to do with the dev.

I have to blame the carriers, when I rooted my SII and moved to NeatROM (basically stock minus bloatware + a nice theme and optional mods, nothing extravagant) it seemed as though there was an official (Samsung) firmware update at least every two weeks..... maybe I'm missing something tho?
