Before today, I didn’t know who she was, neither was I focusing on her. I don’t really contact celebrities or artists in any way about their choices.

You’re right, I hadn’t thought of that.

It pisses me off on her behalf. Yeah, maybe she was “selling out” or making a poor decision. I wouldn’t blame her fans for feeling betrayed. But this kind of ugliness is what makes *them* deplorables. We need to be better than that.

So, this is my first year teaching. I’m in a school with a lot of black and Latino/a students, and I have to do a lesson including MLK this week.

There’s a popular “Tasty” video getting shared on Facebook a lot about making prime rib. I’ve been vegetarian for over 7 years and I watch it, drooling, every time. If they made passable veggie prime rib, I might just go broke because I’m sure it would be crazy expensive and I’d buy it constantly.

I’m really sad they ruined The Piano Guys.
